The Senior Center in Central Park
Senior residents of Huntington Beach have a great resource in the Senior Center in Central Park, a “vibrant hub of activity” which provides great resources for both “active aging” and “aging in place.” There are classes, workshops, activities, computer training classes and other events. There is also the Hoag Health and Wellness Pavilion, a fully furnished, state of the art facility. In addition to the active aging resources, you can also find resource specialists that focus on Aging in Place. Recreational Classes offered to seniors include aerobics, arts and crafts, ballet, bridge, book club, computer, dance, drawing, CPR, and many others. Senior Center in Central Park rents rooms many different group events. The Parkview Room seats 280 and includes a stage and patio. The room can be divided for smaller functions into Parkview Room South and North, which both seat 120, with room for 155 circulating. A six-hour minimum rental is required for the Parkview Room, which is available on certain days and times. For smaller functions, the Edinger Medical Group Rooms 1 and 2 are available and seat 30 and 15 respectively. Fees for the various spaces are available here.

Hoag Health & Wellness Pavilion
The Hoag Health & Wellness Pavilion features a state-of-the-art 5,600 sq.ft. fitness center, group exercise room and dance room designed to meet the health and wellness needs of seniors living in and around Huntington Beach. Membership fees for the Fitness Center are as follows: Ages 50 – 79 $120.00 per year and Ages 80 & up: $80.00 per year. In addition to the facilities, Hoag also offers personal trainers and health screenings.
